Phil from Signature did his first
Charity Bike Ride, the Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride on July 10th 2011.
The Charity is for The Christie, the Cancer Hospital based in Manchester.
The bike ride was just a little over 62miles and started from Old Trafford in Manchester and finished on the South Promenade in Blackpool,
and took him 3 hours: 34 minutes: 01 seconds.
Phil states "Myself and a couple of others did this for a really good cause...Christie's.
I found the ride fairly easy, having put the training in 9-10 weeks prior and clocking up nearly 700 miles in the process.
In 2010, the same ride attracted 2300 riders, this year there was 8000 riders, the majority of them riding for Christie's, so lets hope they raise a lot of money for a well worthy cause."
